Just before World War I, the Lafayette area was the center of the Indiana National Guard Artillery. Two of the three batteries were based in Tippecanoe County. Retired Purdue archivist, David Hovde will explain how Purdue Battery B and C impacted Indiana’s participation in the Mexican Border Campaign and World War I.
