Members are encouraged to bring in their antiques and curiosities and share with us their unique story. This is followed by a special presenter who will then talk about an object in more depth and its history as it relates to Tippecanoe County.
This show and tell presentation titled as “Life in Tippecanoe County as seen through John T. McCutcheon’s eyes” will be done by Pete Bill, Tippecanoe County Historical Association Board President.
Before John T. McCutcheon was nationally known as an insightful cartoonist and political illustrator, he was a lad growing up in the “wilds” of rural Tippecanoe County and Purdue University. Hear about the world of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s through John T. McCutcheon’s eyes.
Thank you for being the reason we smile!
