Natural History of the Wea Prairie
On Saturday, March 25, 2017 the Tippecanoe County Historical Association will host a lecture on the Natural History of the Wea Prairie at the TCHA Community Center and Museum (formerly the Masonic Lodge), located at 522 Columbia Street, Lafayette, IN 47901.
Join speaker Thomas Swinford, Assistant Director and Ecologist at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, to learn about our local natural resources, and how they have changed over time. This lecture will run from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. All are welcome to attend; this program is free and open to the public. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions following the presentation.
This Lecture is part of the Tippecanoe County Historical Association’s 50-300 Program Series, which celebrates and commemorates the 50th Annual Feast of the Hunters’ Moon and the 300th Anniversary of the founding of Fort Ouiatenon.
